About Me
Dr. Alfredo J. Soto, M.D. Medical Doctor
I am Dr. Alfredo J. Soto, M.D., a psychiatrist with more than two decades of experience providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and leadership in behavioral health. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals of all ages in outpatient clinics, hospitals, residential treatment facilities, tribal communities, and county health programs.
My professional journey has included service as Medical Director and consulting psychiatrist for multiple organizations across Oregon, where I focused on clinical care, program oversight, and quality improvement in mental health services. I have worked extensively in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, with a strong emphasis on crisis intervention, wraparound programs, and community-based treatment.
Fluent in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of French, I strive to make mental health care more accessible and culturally responsive. Today, I am proud to bring my expertise to World Psychiatry as a Medical Doctor, continuing my commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
